Global Fire Alarm and Detection Market: Overview The fire alarm and detection systems are used for identifying the fire incidents at the initial stage and raise alerts so that there are fewer chances of damages and the people can safely evacuate before the situation is out of control. Thanks Justin, I get your point, although I was thinking of the whole battery from a prius and not an individual cell. I understand that the whole battery has to be replaced when its capacity has reduced to, 95% (not too sure of this figure). So my thought is that at 95% of original capacity it might just do as a storage unit for PV generated energy.
Another benefit of lighter battery is the ease of maintenance as when smaller batteries such as lithium ion batteries need to be checked or replaced, you won 8767 t find it difficult to lift them out and carry them. They can also provide flexibility.
On charge, Li+ ion flow is from cathode to anode. On discharge, flow is from anode to cathode. This is easy to remember. The battery is assembled in a discharged state, where only the cathode contains lithium (. LiCoO7) and the anode is pure carbon containing no lithium. Thus on charging, the Li+ flow must be from cathode to anode.
If your drill is NiCd i suggest you stick to NiCd or NiMh batteries. And if you really want a Li-ion battery for whateva reason, go buy a Li-ion drill.
You mentioned cost several times with the last battery, LTO.
However, this doesn 8767 t match with the spider graph presented, which indicates, by comparison with all others, that LTO is the cheapest battery.

Just as a passing piece of information on the Li-ion aging, I have a Nokia 8565i which I 8767 ve had since 7558. The battery is still the original, stays on most of the time and still has a standby time of about a week. As far as my feeble memory goes the battery still performs roughly as new!
Being ignorant of battery properties I assumed that the longevity was a result of the Li-lion technology. The article would appear to suggest the opposite!
Having a couple of generations in industrial commercial electrics - motors & controls,
I would suggest that you take it to a professional golf or electric motor service.
While the motor and or battery may not be damaged - or at least minimally - the controls might have been shorted. Many (most of the) times they can be dried out. And, the motor can be megged for wetness at the start. Otherwise, it appears to be guessing with your pocketbook. Even then you might still be guessing, hopefully you will have reputable service people to deal with. Best wishes.
Lithium-ion batteries power the lives of millions of people each day. From laptops and cell phones to hybrids and electric cars, this technology is growing in popularity due to its light weight, high energy density, and ability to recharge.
